Do you know any stereotypes about London? Well, forget about them, because it isn't similar to any other cities I've ever been and nearly all the information I heard about London was wrong.
London has an enormous number of different cultures and all of them are tightly linked in the city. There are Italian, Polish, Indian, Chinese and African districts and many other areas with different culture.
The city doesn't only connect cultures, but it also connects different historical eras. You are able to see examples of medieval architecture and modern buildings nearby, like Big Ben and the London Eye, but they are rare.
London is great in lots of aspects, but one big problem of this city is transport. Many people say that there are no traffic jams at all, and, compared to Moscow, this statement is very close to the truth, even though you can sometimes get stuck. But there are some other disadvantages of London's transport system. Unbelievably, they are connected with the underground. Despite of it's comfort, there are lots of people and it is terrifying. In addition, tickets are horribly expensive and this occasion is the worst of all! The average cost of a ticket is £4.50 and even if you have an Oyster card, which is twice cheaper, you will spend a lot of money for it.
To sum up, London is almost perfect, and even those small minuses don't make the city worse.
